35th Annual Florida State University Art History Graduate Symposium
The FSU Art History faculty and graduate students invite students currently working toward an M.A. or a Ph.D. to submit abstracts of papers for presentation at our 35th Annual Art History Graduate Student Symposium, which will be held on Friday afternoon, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, 2017. The keynote speaker this year is Edward J. Sullivan, Helen Gould Sheppard Professor of the History of Art, New York University.
We welcome papers from any area of the history of art, architecture, and cultural heritage studies. Paper sessions will take place on Friday afternoon, October 6th, and Saturday, October 7th, with each paper followed by critical discussion. Papers will then be considered for inclusion in Athanor, an internationally-distributed journal published by the FSU Museum of Fine Arts Press in the College of Fine Arts.
The deadline for submitting abstracts (maximum 500 words) is June 15, 2017. Please include the title of the talk, the level of graduate study, and a CV. Send the abstract by email to professor Doron Bauer (dbauer@fsu.edu).
